Biography
Tom Reasbeck is a self-taught carver and realized this passion in the mid 1980s. Tom’s creativity is set in motion even as he collects the pine or bass branches from downed trees in logging sites right through until a piece is finished. Over the years Tom has carved many different pieces but by far the most popular have been the Christmas carvings. Whether it be a tree ornament, snowman or a delightful Santa, the positive feedback that he receives from his clients fuels his creative nature to carve each piece with a different character. Tom does not use patterns so you will not find two Santas alike. People searching for a unique hand-carved gift have sent some of Tom’s work to all parts of the world or started their own collection. Tom enjoys the pleasure of carving but most of all he enjoys the way his work can make others smile.
